Chemical Industry

Bondalti, the current designation of the chemical industry business area, and heiress of the historical CUF brand, is one of the largest portuguese chemical companies, with proprietary technology and a strong commitment to sustainability. With manufacturing units and logistics centers in Portugal and Spain, it operates in two business areas – industrial chemicals and nano-structured materials – being the largest independent European producer of aniline and the second largest chlorine producer in the Iberian Peninsula

Health

CUF is the largest private healthcare operator in Portugal and an example of clinical excellence and respect for the dignity and welfare of the client. The José de Mello Group also holds a majority stake in José de Mello Residências e Serviços, which develops solutions and services for the senior population, and a 50% stake in ATM, which operates in the maintenance area, in addition to a minority stake in Efacec Power Solutions.

Grow

In 2017, the José de Mello Group launched Grow, a cross-cutting program for all affiliated companies, with the aim of strengthening the connection to the startups ecosystem, supporting and accelerating the development of innovative projects. Through Grow, startups have access to the unique knowledge, experience and infrastructure of companies in the José de Mello universe, developing joint pilot projects, testing and adapting products and services in a real market environment.
